Therapeutic Touch® for Families
Saturday, 12PM to 4PM
May 8, 2021
Presenters: Michelle Greenwell and Natascha Polomski
Join Natascha Polomski and Michelle Greenwell as they share their love of Therapeutic Touch® and the tools that can be used by families.
Therapeutic Touch® is a healing discipline that uses the energy flow through the hands and intention to bring calm and relaxation to others. Often done one on one, this session is an introduction to the techniques of TT while focusing on aches, pains, scrapes, bruises, headaches, tummy aches and other common wellness challenges found in daily activities. Co-authors of this special program, Natascha and Michelle will provide an online experience that uses the breakout rooms for exploration of exercises, as well as group activities to gather in conversation. If you have wanted to know about TT, or are looking for ways to better support your family and friends with some directed love, this is the place. A special handout will provide you with all the techniques for follow up at home after the workshop. Children are invited to participate if they wish to try the exercises and be a part of the discussions. It is recommended for 8 years and up for this session.
Natascha and Michelle are both Foundations Instructors for Therapeutic Touch® and the Atlantic Therapeutic Touch® Network. Both students at Akamai University in the Graduate program for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, they are co-authors with Cherry Whitaker for this program. Their approach is to bring the healing tools of BioEnergetic Wellness disciplines into the hands of the lay person, so that everyone has a chance to participate in their self-care and in their families wellbeing. They also believe that the tools in Therapeutic Touch® have been foundational in providing important skills to support other disciplines and complementary studies for wellness. Their approach is always interactive, fun and collaborative. Michelle specialized in wellness through movement and is a Touch for Health Instructor, while Natascha specializes in sound therapy and the use of Therapeutic Singing Bowls. Active on our CanBeWell board as President and Vice-President, this workshops is part of a fundraising effort for the organization.
